Record-Breaking Year 7

Year 7 students were given the opportunity to enter into a competition to be one of the 16 lucky students to participate in Jamie Oliver’s Guinness World Record attempt to have the world's largest cookery class.

16 students were chosen and arrived excited on 1 July ready to take part.  The live stream started and we were introduced to the team and Jamie Oliver himself.  Students worked really hard to make pasta dough from scratch and turn it into shapes of gnocchetti and pici.  Students also made a homemade fresh tomato sauce with tomatoes, basil and garlic which was mixed with the freshly cooked pasta.

They did amazingly and the world record was achieved!
