In doing so, they’ve each gained their Grade 1 in Foil.  Congratulations to them all!

The grading is a combination of learnings both academic and physical, testing the memory and coordination of the individual. Students have also experienced items required for competition and have used electric scoring equipment.  As they move forward, they will try different weapons and a chance to do higher grades. Hopefully next term will see more headings and year groups stepping up to the challenge.
