Did you know that most children don’t eat enough fish?  Not here!  Students in Years 10 and 11 have been cooking and tasting mussels kindly donated by Offshore Shellfish.

The pupils really enjoyed the experience - from near refusals to try the mussels to exclaiming “they're actually not that bad” and “I'd order these in a restaurant now”!

It was a very rewarding experience for both the teacher and students.  In preparation for the mussel delivery students learnt all about how the mussels are rope grown off the coast of Cornwall, how nutritious mussels are, as well as how sustainable and environmentally friendly they are.  Well done team!
