Year 10 student Sam has made two incredible achievements this term!
This week Sam has been offered a place at the Junior Royal Birmingham Conservatoire on their classical vocal course. He’ll be spending each Saturday at Birmingham City University doing what he loves best and with a full timetable including vocal lessons, aural, theory, senior choir and vocal ensemble.
Sam has also been promoted to Corporal in the St John Ambulance Cadets following a weekend residential leadership course and interview. There was a passing out parade at the end of the weekend where Sam was presented his certificate and rank by the High Sheriff of the West Midlands. We’re told it meant a great deal to him to become more involved in the unit and gain further responsibilities.
