Congratulations to the 58 Year 8 students who took part in the Junior Maths Challenge at the end of April.
Their conduct in the Foleyan Hall during the Challenge is to be commended, especially as they have not experienced that sized venue under exam conditions before.
Between them they achieved 11 Gold, 19 Silver and 19 Bronze Awards, with the remaining nine students receiving participation certificates.
Special mentions, as well as their Gold Awards, go to Scott who was also 'Best in School' and qualified for Junior Maths Olympiad follow-on round. Charlie, Bella, Ava and Sabrina who all qualified for the Junior Kangaroo follow-on round.
Follow-on rounds will take place in June. Best of luck to those taking part!
