Two of our Year 7 footballers have recently represented their club academies in the Premier League Truce Tournament held in Ypres, Belgium.
Each year European teams come together to commemorate the extraordinary events of 1914 when enemies in the First World War played football in No Man’s Land on Christmas Day.
Zachary (Wolverhampton Wanderers) and Matthew’s (West Bromwich Albion) teams finished 4th and 7th respectively in the competition.
