Two Worcester Warriors’ players returned to their old school to help with a training session in preparation for the Nat West U18 Bowl Final.
Huw Taylor and Sam Ripper-Smith were in the OSH 1st XV team and played in the 2012 RBS Daily Mail U18 Cup final at Twickenham. During the afternoon training session they were able to pass on their experience and skills to aid the current 1st XV before the final on Tuesday 28th March at Worcester’s Sixways Stadium.
Both Huw and Sam play professional rugby for Worcester Warriors and have represented England. At the weekend Huw will be on loan to London Scottish, playing against his older brother Ed who represents the Bedford Blues.
Following the visit, Head of Rugby Mr A Coalter said: “We were delighted to welcome Huw and Sam back to School today. Their input has been invaluable and both the boys and staff thoroughly enjoyed the experience.”
