OSH 1st XI put in their best performance of the season to earn a deserved victory, away at Aston on a thoroughly wet afternoon. Confident and assured from the start, OSH’s midfield broke down Aston’s attacks and moved the ball quickly in all areas of the pitch. Though only 1-0 up at the break with a Dan Dew special, OSH continued to apply pressure which resulted in more penalty corners and relentless attacks. Dew claimed his second, swiftly followed by Saad Qadri and an Alistair Armstrong reverse stick special. Though Jamie Nash impressed in midfield with a solid performance, this was a fine team performance against a strong side and a game that OSH completely controlled from the very first, to the very last minute.
