November 17th, 2016

Old Swinford Hospital has been recognised by the Ministry of Defence with a Silver Award in its Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

The Award celebrates organisations which demonstrate and communicate their support for the armed forces community and has signed the Armed Forces Covenant.

Headmaster Paul Kilbride who collected the award at a ceremony in Birmingham’s new library said “Receiving this award is an important achievement for Old Swinford Hospital and shows our commitment to supporting the armed forces, whether it be through offering military families priority boarding places, our thriving Combined Cadet Force or the employment of ex-service personnel and reservists.”
