The OSH Parents Association are launched a new School fundraising initiative.
Parents can sign up to the School lottery to help raise funds for the School, whilst also providing a weekly cash prize draw and the opportunity of winning £25,000.
To participate parents must register on the Your School Lottery website, click play and then search for Old Swinford Hospital.
A £1 per week lottery ticket will raise 40p for OSH PA, 37p goes to the weekly prize draw and 23p to the lottery administrators, a non-profit making organisation that administers the ‘your school lottery’ scheme.
If 200 parents buy a £1 lottery ticket each, every week the OSH PA will raise £80 with a weekly prize of £74. This scheme will only be successful if enough parents, staff and friends get behind it!
All participants will also receive a 6 digit number. Each week, an additional draw is made nationally. Should anyone get all 6 numbers in the correct order then they will win the big £25,000 prize!
Headmaster Paul Kilbride said ‘This new initiative is a fantastic way to bring parents, carers, teachers and the wider community together, in partnership with our school, and at the same time give something back. We hope to raise funds that can support and enrich the education of our children – we aim to provide extra resources for the children, improve the school environment as well as run extra-curricular activities such as music, art and sport.’
The first draw will be on 3 December 2016.
