Sixth Form student Georgia Rowley has been selected to attend a Biomedical Sciences Masterclass at Corpus Christi Cambridge in March.
The Masterclass attracts a high level of applications, particularly those students intending to apply for an Oxbridge place. The programme will include lectures on ‘Bone and Mineral Metabolism in Health and Disease’; ‘Pain and Lessons from the Naked Mole-Rat’ and ‘Malaria: the most dangerous alga in the world’. Georgia will also receive important advice on preparing a competitive application to Cambridge.
Georgia, aged 16 from Tipton, is currently studying Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Psychology at A Level and hopes to follow a career in medicine. Away from her studies Georgia is a member of the OSH CCF and plays saxophone in a local band.
