Successful CCF Inspection

The successful Biennial Inspection of Old Swinford Hospital Combined Cadet Force was carried out on Thursday 8 October by Inspecting Officer, Colonel K Knutton, Cadet Commander (WM) District.

In the afternoon a parade was held of 150 cadets from both Army and RAF sections, under the command of Lt Col B S Price, Officer in Charge of OSH CCF.

On completion of the parade, the inspecting officer was able to visit the Cadets undergoing a variety of training activities including weapons training, group shooting at the School’s 23m indoor barrack range, first aid, rations, basha building, infantry tactics and some classroom instruction.

The Colonel gave his final address to the assembled cadets in the Great Hall.
