Sixth Form Students Take Part in BBC Election Debates

Year 13 students Nick Kwilecki and Jakub Dovcik took part in a BBC Midlands Today Election Special with members of the four main parties.

Sajid Javid (Minister for Culture Minister and Sport), Tristram Hunt (Shadow Education Secretary), Suzanne Evans (Deputy Leader of UKIP), William Duckworth (Green Party candidate, Dudley North) and Lorely Burt (Liberal Democrat) all took part in the debate on issues including HS2, the NHS and immigration.

Mary Rhodes presented the BBC Midlands Today Special which was aired on 29 April on BBC One.

The two students, joined by Year 12 Kirsty Kelly, attended the BBC’s Ask Nigel Farage debate, presented by Jo Coburn. Nick asked a question about defence.
