OSH Students Grill Politicians on Key Election Issues

April 16th, 2015

Sixth Form students at OSH had the opportunity to grill labour politicians before deciding on how to cast their vote in the forthcoming elections.

Pete Lowe, Labour Candidate for Stourbridge and Stephen Twigg MP, Shadow Justice Minister and former Shadow Secretary of State for Education, visited OSH today to talk to students about why they think young people aren’t inclined to vote and how to encourage more engagement in politics.

A lively Q&A session included questions on tuition fees, devolution and votes for 16 year olds.
