World Book Day

March 4th, 2015

World Book Day celebrations started today with separate readings of the ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’ by James Thurber.

The fun short story was divided into three sections, with the Headmaster reading the first part in School Assembly and parts two and three read at the beginning of lessons during the morning.

Today also marks the start of the OSH Readathon for Years 7, 8 and 9 which runs for three weeks leading up to the Easter Holidays.

Both World Book Day and the OSH Readathon aim to inspire and encourage students about the pleasure of reading all year round.
