Sea Cadet Aiming for the Skies!

March 5th, 2015

Jamie Nash, a Year 11 boarder at OSH, is aiming high and has sets his sights on becoming a Naval Pilot with the Royal Navy.  At already 6’4”, Jamie is too tall for the RAF but luckily there is no height restriction to fly helicopters and cargo planes in the Navy.

Jamie is a 1st class cadet in the Kings Norton Sea Cadets as well as a member of the OSH CCF.  He is working hard towards his application to the Navy with work experience at RAF Benson and a 2nd Class qualification in Marine Engineering already completed.

Jamie has just gained his Bronze Wings after completing a course at SCTC Weymouth. He finished in the top six, so will now go straight through to the Gold Wings Course.  Well done Jamie!
