Aspiring rugby professional George Trimmer met up with his former 1st XV Captain and England U20 Huw Taylor, when they both represented Worcester Warriors U18 against Northampton Saints.
George plays fly half or centre in the OSH 1st XV and has been at Worcester Warriors since he was 13. In addition to school training, he trains twice a week at Worcester, where they are put through a personalised strength and training programme to develop explosive strength and to help athletic development.
“Playing for Worcester Warriors has been a big learning curve for me and has allowed me to play against the very best in the country”, said George. “We play in the Aviva Premiership U18 league and I have been selected for every game, occasionally playing alongside former OSH 1st XV Huw Taylor and Sam Smith, who both now have professional contracts with Worcester Warriors.”
George, aged 18, is currently in Year 13 at OSH and hopes to study Real Estate at University whilst continuing to develop his rugby ambitions.
