Old Swinford Hospital Celebrates GCSE Results

Once again, students at Old Swinford Hospital have produced some outstanding performances in their GCSE examinations. The percentage of results awarded at A* to C grades in five or more subjects was 91.21%.

Some of the outstanding achievements were:

Simon Bill from Cleobury Mortimer achieved 7 grade A* and 3 grade A

Kelvin Lam from Pedmore achieved 7 grade A* and 2 grade A

Edmund Little from Droitwich Spa achieved 7 grade A* and 2 grade A

Justin Yeung from Shirley achieved 7 A* and 2 grade A

Dominic Luxton from Peopleton, nr Pershore achieved 6 grade A* and 4 grade A

David Kent from Stourbridge achieved 6 A* and 3 grade A

Joshua Hart from Chaddesley Corbett achieved 6 A* and 2 grade A

William Croft from Stourbridge achieved 5 A* and 4 grade A

Matthew Cutler from Switzerland achieved 5 A* and 4 grade A

Commenting on the results, the Deputy Headmaster of Old Swinford Hospital, Dale Wilkins said ”These results reward a good deal of hard work and dedication from students and staff alike.  We are particularly pleased that the most successful students are from a truly representative cross-section of both our local students and our boarding students from further afield and from overseas.”
